PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This AD-IN Elevate Series is designed for lower-intermediate tennis players looking to build consistency, improve control, and develop confidence on court.
Join this 5-week progressive training series built around clean, repeatable technique, dynamic drilling, and structured point play. At this level, real progress comes from reducing unforced errors, improving positioning, and learning how to play with clear intent.
With a maximum of six players per session, you'll receive individualized feedback and consistent technical correction in a focused, high-repetition environment.
Players will be assessed by the instructor during the first session to ensure the level is appropriate for the group.
TRAINING STRUCTURE
From your first session, you’ll work toward building reliable rally tolerance, improving directional control, and learning to play simple, structured points.
At this level, players are expected to rally at a controlled pace and train through live-ball and scenario-based drills, with technique continuously reinforced throughout.
Weeks 1–2: Technical Foundation & Consistency
+ Groundstroke mechanics under controlled pace
+ Consistent contact point and swing path
+ Improved spacing and recovery positioning
+ Rally control and basic depth awareness
+ Footwork efficiency and balance
Weeks 3–4: Direction & Simple Point Play
+ Crosscourt consistency as the default pattern
+ Introduction to directional changes when stable
+ Serve fundamentals and second-serve reliability
+ Basic transition movement and net positioning
+ Structured live-ball drills with simple tactical focus
Week 5: Competitive Application
+ Simple pattern-based point play
+ Situational scoring drills
+ Decision-making with clear options
+ Controlled competitive play.
Technique remains the priority throughout, with tactical awareness introduced progressively and kept simple and actionable.
Given the 1-hour session format, drills are designed to be efficient, high-repetition, and focused on maximizing live-ball touches in every session.
Throughout the sessions, selected rally segments will be accompanied by music - ranging from modern house to 80s/90s classics and current hits - to create a more dynamic and engaging on-court experience.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR
You will be led by Pathik Sanghvi, founder of Tennis with a View. A former collegiate player at Ramapo College, Pathik has been coaching since 2001 and has built his reputation on technical precision and disciplined, results-driven instruction.
Over the course of his career, he has taught at premier indoor and outdoor facilities across New York and New Jersey, served as a Wilson Pro Ambassador, and directed USTA junior competitions throughout the tristate area. He also earned a perfect score on his PTR certification, in both on-court performance and instructional evaluation, a distinction that speaks to the standard he holds himself to.
His approach is straightforward: every player should leave each session stronger, more fundamentally sound, and measurably better than when they arrived.
